This video shows a
robot mowing the lawn. The owner of the home gave
verbal instructions to the robot to clean the yard.
After the instructions were given, knowledge pours
into the robot's conscious and populate primarily 4
containers. These 4 containers allow the robot to
accomplish the task of mowing the lawn.
There are no sound in
the video because I wanted to show the viewers what
the robot is thinking while he is mowing the lawn. At
the beginning of the video, the robot makes a quick
mental plan of what he wants to do. He determines
that he has 3 steps to do: 1. mow the back lawn. 2.
mow the side lawn. 3. and mow the front lawn. And for
each step there are sub-tasks the robot has to
accomplish. For example, the back lawn include,
picking up rotten oranges and trimming trees. Also,
for each lawn there is a specific method used to mow
the lawn. The robot generate these methods during
runtime.
